Samsons Paddock is a relatively new restaurant and bar making a significant mark on the bar and foodie scene south of the river here in Perth. Zen Ironwork was recently asked to design and fabricate a wall and shelving unit with a unique wood grain/ rust patina finish suitable for and internal restaurant situation.

The unit was modelled in a CAD program and fabricated.. The finish is customised and  thus requires a high degree of skill to achieve. It is based on American hardwoods like Walnut and Mahogany. This deep and developed patina is then coated in an advanced clear coat stabilising the finish and ensuring it compliant with restaurants and internal dining codes.
